Mika Urakawa

Mika Urakawa is an accomplished iOS Developer with extensive experience in mobile app development, currently working at Yappli since March 2024, after a previous tenure from April 2022 to November 2023. At Yappli, Mika successfully converted a significant portion of the application's core functionality from Objective-C to Swift, improving maintainability and eliminating post-release bugs for a majority of clients. In addition, Mika streamlined deployment processes, achieving a notable reduction in job processing time. Prior to Yappli, Mika held roles such as Mobile App Architect at MOON-X Inc. and Software Engineer at IBM, where contributions included redesigning a global automotive company's iPad app and managing outsourced teams for critical bug resolutions. Mika's education includes a degree in International Economics from Yokohama National University and current studies in Web Development at CICCC.
