Hilde Strand Bjerknes

Hilde Strand Bjerknes is an experienced executive currently serving as SVP Farming Solutions Europe at Yara International, where key initiatives focus on advancing sustainable and climate-friendly crop nutrition solutions. With a history of progressive roles at Yara, including VP of Farming Solutions in Europe, Africa, and Asia, and Supply Chain Director for Asia, Bjerknes has significantly contributed to the company’s objectives of transforming the global food industry and achieving ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets. Prior to Yara, Bjerknes held various leadership positions at Canal Digital Kabel TV AS and Telenor Norge AS, where responsibilities ranged from managing product portfolios to overseeing significant market launches. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Oslo, supplemented by business coursework at BI Norwegian Business School and London Business School.
