Grant Shoemaker

Grant Shoemaker has a strong background in software engineering, starting with their role as a Senior Software Developer at 3t Systems from January 2001 to December 2003. Here, they designed and developed software solutions, managed client relationships, and served as a source of knowledge for the development team.

Following this, Grant worked as an Owner for Infinity Incremented, LLC from December 2003 to December 2008. As co-founder of this software development services company, they oversaw multiple software development projects, ensured project schedules were met, and maintained client relationships.

Grant then joined Robert Half Technology in December 2008 as a .NET Architect/Sr. Developer for Financial Planning Association on a project basis. Grant designed and implemented a replacement for FPA's primary web application and mentored and managed the existing development team. Grant was subsequently hired full-time by FPA to oversee all development work.

From August 2009 to November 2012, Grant worked at the Financial Planning Association as a Director of Software Engineering / Software Architect. In this role, they oversaw two direct reports, was responsible for software architecture and design, defined requirements, and led teams in technical software development and maintenance.

Grant then joined SNL Financial in November 2012 and held multiple roles within the company. Grant started as a Software Engineer III, then became a Manager of Application Development from October 2013 to February 2015, and finally a Senior Software Development Manager from February 2015 to January 2023.

Grant's next position was at S&P Global, where they served as an Associate Director, Software Development Manager from November 2012 to March 2023. In this role, they led a team of developers, acted as the lead developer for a business intelligence platform, and worked closely with project ownership and management to design requirements and determine technologies.

Most recently, Grant joined YardView as the Director of Software Engineering in May 2023, where they currently hold this position.

Grant Shoemaker attended Colorado State University from 1992 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science, although they did not complete it. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1992, they attended Germantown Academy for high school. Before their time at Germantown Academy, Grant attended Colorado Springs Christian School from 1989 to 1991 for their high school education.
