Fawwaz al-Abed al-Haq

Fawwaz AL-Abed Al-Haq is an experienced academic leader, currently serving as the President of The Hashemite University since January 2020. In addition, Fawwaz has held the position of dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Yarmouk University since 1985 and is a Professor of English and Linguistics. From September 2014 to September 2017, Fawwaz was the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Tafila Technical University. Fawwaz received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where studies were completed between 1983 and 1985.
