Guy Hodgkinson

Guy Hodgkinson has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Guy currently holds the position of Head of Engineering - Electrical Systems at Yarra Trams since June 2021. Before joining Yarra Trams, they worked at Rail Projects Victoria as the Principal Power Engineer, Engineering Assurance and later as the Power Systems Manager & Principal Electrical Engineer, Systems Integration Group from August 2018 to April 2021. Guy also had roles at Middleton Group, serving as the Practice Lead - Industrial & Infrastructure, Technical Director & Principal Electrical Engineer, and interim Practice Lead - Transmission & Distribution from June 2017 to June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Industry Fellow at Swinburne University of Technology from March 2016 to December 2019. Guy also held various positions at other companies such as Yarra Trams, Gysan Engineers and Consultants, VicTrack, Downer, FAM Australia, and Fluor, where they had roles ranging from Senior Project Manager to Operations and Engineering Manager.

Guy Hodgkinson received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. Hons) in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Tasmania between 1990 and 1993. Additionally, they obtained qualifications from Engineers Australia as a FIEAust CPEng EngExec NER APEC Engineer.
