James McMillan

James McMillan has extensive experience in safety and operations within the transport and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Chief Safety Officer at Yarra Trams since July 2019, James has also held various roles including Acting Chief Operations Officer and Manager Operational Safety. Prior experience includes positions at Transport Safety Victoria and the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator, focusing on rail safety and regulatory analysis. Earlier roles include logistics operations at Goldman Sachs and shipping management at Kingfish Services Ltd and Ex-Aus Freight Management. James holds a Bachelor of Business in International Business from RMIT University and a designation from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
