Ajay Bhatnagar

Ajay Bhatnagar has a strong background in the aviation industry, with significant experience in sales and management roles. Ajay currently serves as the COO - Domestic Air Freight at Yatra Online Ltd. starting from January 2023. Prior to this, Ajay worked as a consultant from July 2019 to December 2022. Ajay held the position of Vice President-International Sales at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) from April 2018 to June 2019. Ajay also worked at InterGlobe Air Transport Limited (IGAT) as the Business Head from April 2015 to March 2018. Starting from April 2007, they held the role of Vice President- Sales at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) until March 2015. Ajay's career in the aviation industry began in 1998 when they joined InterGlobe Air Transport Limited as a Project Manager. Ajay Bhatnagar holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MDBA) in Marketing/Marketing Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Ajay also has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hansraj College, where they studied from 1974 to 1977. Ajay completed their primary education at Cambridge School Srinivaspuri between 1966 and 1974. In addition to their academic degrees, Ajay has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Ajay became a Certified Hogan Assessor through Hogan Assessment Systems in November 2017 and received Certification for Business Coaching from Lighthouse Coaching in September 2017. In 2007, they completed a Leadership Development Program on Business and Commercial Acumen for Business Managers at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. In previous years, Ajay acquired certifications such as Customer First Campaign from Gulf Air in August 1987, Principles of Management from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in November 1986, Load and Trim Sheet for HS-748 from Vayudoot - Indian Airlines Subsidiary in January 1982, Intermediate and Advanced Fares and Ticketing Course from British Airways in April 1981, Fares and Ticketing Introduction Package from British Airways in January 1981, and Fares and Reservations from British Airways in February 1980.
