Shawn Heeren

Shawn Heeren has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Shawn started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Afton Chemical in 2017, where they were responsible for archiving invoices and assisting division managers. Shawn then joined Cactus Club Cafe in 2018, where they held multiple roles including Server, Shift Leader, Server Trainer, and Expeditor. During their time at Cactus Club Cafe, they developed strong leadership and customer service skills.

In 2020, Shawn joined Beanworks as an Account Executive and later took on the role of Sales Development Representative, demonstrating their ability to drive sales and build customer relationships. Shawn then transitioned to Clearco in 2021 as an Investment Associate, where they gained experience in investment analysis.

In 2022, Shawn joined YayPay by Quadient as an Account Executive before being promoted to Sales Manager later in the year. Shawn played a key role in developing sales strategies and managing client accounts.

Shawn's most recent work experience is with Knight Media Corp. as a Principle, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Shawn has also been actively involved in the Business Student Society. Shawn served as a Business Committee Member, President, and Advisory Board Member, contributing to the organization's growth and success.

Shawn Heeren obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from KU Leuven. This educational achievement took place from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Shawn has also obtained several certifications. Shawn earned the ZoomInfo Certification in July 2022, the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification in December 2020, and the Serving It Right certification from Responsible Service British Columbia in October 2019.
