Brittani Savage

Brittani Savage has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Currently, they work as an Associate Program and Grants Manager at The Foundation for Women's Cancer, a position they began in January 2022.

In 2021, Brittani was selected as a Community Member at YearOne (Techstars 2020), an exclusive developer community aimed at supporting and mentoring non-traditional engineers as they break into tech. Brittani participated in ongoing technical workshops, received resources, and career coaching.

From 2018, Brittani has owned and operated Crafting Love, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills.

In 2021, they also worked as an Adobe Digital Academy Scholar at Adobe, starting in January and ending in April. This program offers scholarships and training to underrepresented individuals pursuing careers in technology.

Prior to that, Brittani held roles at Advocate Aurora Health as an Outpatient Registry and Admission Representative from March to December 2020, and at The MENTOR Network as a Direct Support Professional from April to October 2019.

In 2018, they worked as a Parent Partner at Central Missouri Community Action for three months.

Brittani gained experience as a Publishing Specialist at the University of Missouri from August 2014 to September 2017. Brittani also worked as a Student Assistant at MU Women's Center from August 2013 to May 2017, and as a Youth Exploring Science Teen at Saint Louis Science Center from May 2010 to August 2013.

Brittani Savage completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. In 2021, they enrolled in General Assembly and obtained a certificate in Computer Engineering through their Software Engineering Immersive program. Additionally, they received various certifications, including the LGBTQ+ STEM Icons Course, Learn JavaScript Course, Learn CSS Course, and Learn HTML Course from Codecademy in July 2021, as well as a Multicultural Certificate from the University of Missouri-Columbia (month and year not specified).
