Jane Hindle is an experienced community leader and consultant currently serving as a Community Board Member for the Far North District Council, representing the Russell Kororāreka Ōpua ward, since November 2022. As Co-Chair of the Te Au Marie 1769 Sestercennial Trust, Jane coordinates national commemorations for Taitokerau Northland, celebrating significant historical encounters. Additionally, as Deputy Chair of the Russell Museum and a Committee Member for St John Ambulance, Jane actively contributes to cultural preservation and community service. With a diverse background as a Director at Graphite Limited and former Executive Trustee of R. Tucker Thompson, Jane possesses extensive expertise in business consulting, strategic planning, and governance. Jane holds a PGDip in Business from The University of Auckland and a Diploma in Te Reo Māori from Te Waananga o Aotearoa.
