Tony Margarit

Tony Margarit has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Tony currently serves as the Head of Finance at YellowHeart, where they oversee financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and fundraising outreach. Prior to that, Tony was the Co-Founder and Owner of Minnesota Chimney Cakes, a dessert food truck specializing in Eastern European treats. Tony also worked as a Controller at TeamGenius, BRICK x MORTAR, Team IFA, and Wisdom Gaming, where they managed financial and accounting functions. Additionally, Tony served as a Consulting CFO at Salo, a Korn Ferry company, and held Controller/CFO positions at Inline Filling Systems and Wild Goose Filling. Tony started their career at Stratasys as an Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant.

Tony Margarit earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended the Academy of Holy Angels from 2001 to 2005, though they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study from there. Additionally, Tony obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy in December 2011.
