Susanne Lehmann

Susanne Lehmann is currently the Head of Database Reliability Engineering at Yelp, where Susanne oversees the reliability, performance, security, and scaling of foundational databases. Susanne has a background in database engineering, administration, performance tuning, and trouble-shooting, with experience in companies such as DeNA, Dataspora LLC, Metamarkets, Solveno GmbH, and IMPAQ-Pluralis GmbH. Susanne has a Master's/Diplom degree in Mathematics and Computing from The University of Göttingen, and has also studied at The University of Bonn and King's College London. Susanne is also the Vertical Lead for Awesome Women in Engineering at Yelp, supporting women in tech roles through networking and mentorship opportunities.
