Rémi Torres

Rémi TORRES is currently an Apprenti menuisier at Yemanja since February 2023. Previously, Rémi worked as an Aide menuisier en atelier construction de réemploi at La Ressourcerie Du Spectacle from September 2021 to June 2022, where responsibilities included initiating into repurposed woodworking, constructing scenographies, and creating urban furniture for the municipality of Vitry-sur-Seine. Rémi possesses skills in creative design and adaptability to repurposed materials, alongside a comprehensive understanding of sustainable development and circular economy practices in the non-profit sector. Earlier experiences include roles in customer service and marketing at Umami Paris and Leroy Merlin. Rémi's education includes a CAP ébéniste from LA BONNE GRAINE, a circular design training from Villette Makerz, and advanced degrees in Japanese studies from Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and Université Paris Cité.
