Elias Pardo

Elias Pardo has a diverse work experience in the field of QA engineering and integration. Elias is currently working as a QA Lead at YBVR starting from April 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior QA Engineer at Accedo.tv from October 2019 to April 2022. In this role, they worked on several projects for top-tier clients, ensuring high-quality experiences in Smart TV and mobile applications. Elias was responsible for automation implementation and maintenance, as well as leading a team of 8 on an ambitious customer project across multiple platforms.

Before joining Accedo.tv, Elias worked at Verimatrix from 2013 to 2019. Elias held various roles including Senior Integration Engineer and Senior Integration Test & Certification Engineer. In these positions, they developed integration programs and processes, orchestrated internal and customer integration activities, and supervised certification activities across sites.

Prior to Verimatrix, Elias worked as a Software Validation Engineer at Philips Consumer Lifestyle from September 2011 to February 2013. Elias was responsible for the validation of television software, with a focus on SmartTV features and DRM systems.

Elias also gained experience working as a Deployment Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent from September 2010 to September 2011, where they were involved in the integration of social network applications with Telefonica's Video Mailbox service.

Elias started their professional career at Abaira Estudios as a Dubbing Engineer from June 2006 to June 2007. In this role, they were responsible for setting up the environment, recording dubbing artists, and ensuring quality assurance.

Furthermore, Elias completed a Final Project at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they developed an application with geolocation and augmented reality for Android. Elias was responsible for all aspects of the project, including research, design, development, testing, documentation, and demonstrations.

Elias Pardo has a diverse educational background. Elias attended Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they earned a Grado en Ingeniería Multimedia (Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Engineering) from 2010 to 2011. Before that, they pursued an Ingeniería Técnica de Telecomunicaciones Imagen y Sonido (Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in Image and Sound) from 2006 to 2010 at the same university. Prior to their university studies, Elias attended CES, where they completed a Ciclo formativo superior en Sonido (Higher Technical Degree in Sound) from 2004 to 2006, focusing on Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians.

In addition to their formal education, Elias Pardo has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they obtained the SAFe 4.0 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. In 2015, they received the ISTQB Foundation certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Furthermore, in 2014, they became a Verimatrix Certified Engineer in DVB, IPTV, Internet TV, and Playready technologies, awarded by Verimatrix.
