Nima Michael Astani

Nima Michael Astani has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Nima Michael is currently working as a Corporate Counsel at YETI since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Corporate Legal Counsel at Ariat International from August 2019 to July 2021. Nima also worked as a Law Clerk at Nortek Security & Control LLC from June 2016 to May 2019. Nima Michael gained experience as a Counselor at San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Inc. from September 2015 to May 2016. Nima served as a Law Clerk at Daley & Heft LLP from October 2014 to July 2015, where they assisted in the discovery process, document review, and client document organization. Nima Michael also worked as a Legal Intern at Beats by Dr. Dre in June 2013, where they handled clearance for advertisement copy and drafted promotional and licensing contracts. Nima began their legal career as a Legal Assistant at Lee, Lawless, & Blyth in October 2011, where they provided legal research assistance, drafted contracts and managed the attorneys' case calendar.

Nima Michael Astani completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature at UC Santa Barbara from 2006 to 2010. Nima Michael later pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a focus on Intellectual Property Law at the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating in 2019.
