Rafael P.

Rafael P. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rafael started their career at Nacional Supermercados Ltda., where they worked as a Planning Analyst from 1995 to 1999. Rafael then moved on to Sonae Distribuição do Brasil S.A., where they served as an Accounting Analyst from 1999 to 2001. Rafael then joined Dell Technologies as a Finance Advisor from 2001 to 2007, followed by a role as FP&A Coordinator for LATAM at Carrier Corporation from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Rafael returned to Dell Technologies and took on various finance controller roles. Rafael served as a Segment Controller for Brazil CSMB from 2008 to 2011, managing and supporting P&L E2E and providing financial and strategic planning. Rafael then moved to the Enterprise Solutions FP&A team from 2011 to 2012, where they provided financial support and acted as a liaison between different teams. Rafael also worked as a Financial Controller for Software & Peripherals from 2012 to 2013, focusing on optimizing funding mechanisms and driving agile decision-making. Rafael had an assignment with Dell Financial Services (DFS) from 2013 to 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Rafael held the position of Finance Controller Team Lead for Commercial Products at Dell Technologies, leading a team responsible for bringing profitable products to market and ensuring growth targets were met. Rafael then worked as a Finance Controller for 3rd Party Software from 2017 to 2017 and as a Finance Controller for US Medium Business from 2017 to 2019, where they provided financial support to different departments and assisted in decision-making.

Currently, Rafael is working at YETI as the Director - NA Sales FP&A and US Sales Operations. In this role, they lead a team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and incentive programs to drive sales. Rafael conducts analyses to gain insights into business performance and presents outlooks to the senior leadership team.

Rafael P. pursued their education in business and finance. Rafael first attended Unisinos from 1997 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Foreign Trade. Later, they enrolled at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2007 to 2009, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance.
