Jeroen Roodnat

Jeroen Roodnat has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jeroen most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Yielder Group since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Bright River as a CTO from March 2018 to June 2023, where they focused on aligning business and commercial strategy with technical innovation and product development. Jeroen also ensured the delivery of visual content services to customers 24x7.

Before their role at Bright River, Jeroen worked at Dropbox as an Enterprise Solution Architect Manager from July 2015 to January 2018. Jeroen was responsible for managing pre-sales, training, and onsite support activities for customers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Earlier in their career, Jeroen held the position of Head of Cloud Engineering Benelux at Cloudreach Europe from April 2013 to June 2015, where they led the consulting function and built a team of cloud engineers and architects in Amsterdam. Jeroen also worked as an Agile Coach at Black Lab Projects from March 2011 to March 2013, providing consultancy services to companies and teams to improve their software and product development processes.

Jeroen has additional experience as a Solutions Architect Team Lead at BlueCat Networks, where they managed the solutions architect team in Europe and acted as the solutions architect for the Benelux, Nordics, and South Africa region. Prior to that, they worked at TippingPoint as the Head of Solution Architecture EMEA, overseeing pre-sales, training, and support activities for customers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Jeroen's career also includes a role as a security consultant at Freelance, where they worked on various projects related to network security environments, and as the Technical Director at Pronoc/Internoc, a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) company that they co-founded. Jeroen was responsible for creating and delivering managed security services. Additionally, they worked as a Product Manager Security at Dupaco Distribution, where they were responsible for managing the security product portfolio and maintaining vendor relationships.

Jeroen Roodnat completed their Bachelor of Small Business Economics degree at Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications over the years. These include Machine Learning for Trading by Google Cloud & New York Institute of Finance certification from Coursera in April 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - associate level certification from Amazon Web Services in October 2013, Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2011, Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance in August 2011, and CISSP certification from (ISC)² in February 2003.
