In addition, Idia gained marketing experience as a Marketing Intern at Senior Helpers, where they collaborated with the Vice President of Marketing to create outreach and marketing strategies. Idia also led social media marketing efforts and developed marketing campaigns.

Early in their career, Idia had an internship as a PR Intern at BPCM, where they managed public relations and created packages for influencers to increase product visibility. Idia also monitored media coverage and impressions of publicity campaigns.

Idia Ameen began their education at Baruch College in 2013 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Corporate Communications in 2018. Idia then pursued further education at General Assembly in 2020, where they received a Technical Certificate in Computer Science.
