Kevin Dang

Kevin Dang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kevin began their career as a Work Experience Student at Hodge Jones & Allen LLP in 2011, where they worked in the finance department, handling cash, cheques, and organizing case documents.

In 2014, Kevin interned at Comedy Central UK, where they collaborated with the marketing department to discuss possible marketing ideas for upcoming episodes on social media platforms.

In 2015, Kevin worked as a Freelance Web Developer for Bento - Oriental Café & Diner, where they designed and developed a static website for the café and diner. Kevin also maintained the site until its closure in 2017, updating content and making layout changes.

During the same period, they also worked at Goldsmiths, University of London in various roles. As a Junior Software/Database Developer, Kevin wrote T-SQL scripts and developed web application interfaces. Kevin also served as a Student Ambassador, representing the university at events and leading campus tours for prospective students. Additionally, they worked as an IT Support Assistant, providing support to various university departments.

In 2017, Kevin joined Yieldify as a Solutions Engineer, primarily working on the company's YCP Extensions and contributing to alpha product features. Kevin later became a Software Engineer, working in two-week sprints to deliver client-facing features and maintaining the component library.

In 2020, Kevin briefly worked as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Yieldify before transitioning back to their role as a Software Engineer. Kevin has utilized technologies such as TypeScript, React, Angular, Storybook, TailwindCSS, Auth0, Node.js, S3, and Postgres in their work at Yieldify.

Finally, in 2017, Kevin served as an Online Course Assistant at Coursera, where they resolved issues on Unity and supported students with platform queries.

Through their work experience, Kevin has gained expertise in various technologies and has demonstrated their ability to work in both technical and customer-focused roles.

Kevin Dang completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in BSc (Hons) Creative Computing from Goldsmiths, University of London, spanning from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Camden School for Girls Sixth Form from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued A Levels. From 2007 to 2012, Kevin attended Haverstock, where they completed their GCSEs. Additionally, from 2008 to 2014, they attended the Centre for Young Musicians, focusing on guitar studies.
