Dean Paddock

Dean Paddock serves as the Vice President of Community Engagement at YMCA Calgary since January 2022 and is an Instructor in Business Administration at Bow Valley College, focusing on Integrated Marketing and Digital Media, and Organizational Sustainability. Prior experience includes holding prominent roles at The Calgary Airport Authority as Director of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, and Director of Corporate Communications, where Dean advanced strategic communications while managing various stakeholder relations. Prior to this, Dean worked at TD as Manager of Corporate & Public Affairs and at Encana as Manager of Brand Management & Community Investment, demonstrating expertise in brand management, crisis communication, and community engagement. Early in the career, Dean was a Marketing Manager at Bell Canada, building B2B marketing programs. Academic credentials include an MBA from Royal Roads University and further studies in the European Union Business Environment & Innovation Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management, among other qualifications.
