Dr. Mariana Gonzalez

Dr. Mariana Gonzalez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Since 2022, they have been serving as the Vice President of Healthy Living, Experience & Sport at the Greater Austin YMCA. In this role, they lead health and wellness initiatives, sports programs, and enhances the overall member experience. Dr. Gonzalez collaborates with executive leadership to set and execute strategic goals while building effective relationships with internal teams, community partners, and stakeholders.

Prior to this, they worked at Technogym as the Texas & Louisiana Regional Business Developer from 2018 to 2022. Here, they utilized a customer-focused service approach, implemented marketing communications strategies, and played a key role in designing premium wellness solutions.

From 2015 to 2017, Dr. Gonzalez was the Director of Advancement at San Francisco Nativity Academy, where they led marketing and branding efforts, developed comprehensive marketing plans, and implemented a donor management system.

Earlier in their career, they held the position of Association Executive Director of Health & Wellness at YMCA of Central Florida from 2011 to 2015. DR. MARIANA demonstrated strategic financial acumen, led initiatives in leadership development and health strategies, and contributed to the Global Excellence initiative.

Dr. Gonzalez also has experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic & COO at Smart Body Chiropractic & Wellness, P.C. DR. MARIANA established and operated a thriving chiropractic practice, implemented cost-efficient marketing strategies, and drove business growth through effective sales strategies.

In addition, they worked as a Senior Program Director at YMCA of Greater Houston and YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, where they enhanced program quality and provided professional development to program staff. DR. MARIANA also had teaching experience as a First Grade Bilingual educator at Aldine ISD, where they fostered meaningful relationships with students, parents, and educators and engaged in community outreach and program development.

Dr. Mariana Gonzalez holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College, with a focus on Public Health studies, Sports Medicine, and Nutrition. DR. MARIANA also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, specializing in Marketing, Design, Studio Art, and Kinesiology. In addition, they have completed the Business Excellence program at the Disney Institute. Dr. Gonzalez has obtained various certifications, including those related to fitness and technology, such as Technogym Official Suppliers of 8 OLYMPIC GAMES, Technogym BIOCIRCUIT, and Technogym SKILLATHLETIC. DR. MARIANA has also received certifications from the YMCA of the USA and Salesforce.
