Hannah Wood

Youth Unity Project Director at YMCA of Central New Mexico

Hannah Wood has a diverse work experience. Hannah started their career as an intern for Congressman Harry Teague in 2009. Hannah then worked as a Senior Academic Advisor at The University of New Mexico from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2019, they held various roles at Sandia National Laboratories, including Human Resources Specialist and Onboarding Specialist. In 2019, they joined Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Technical Project Manager and later became a Training Program Manager. Currently, Hannah works at the YMCA of Central New Mexico, where they serve as the Youth & Government State Director and the Youth Unity Project Director. Their roles involve youth development, strategic planning, and event planning.

Hannah Wood completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Project Management from The University of New Mexico, which they attended from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same university, attending from 2012 to 2014. Hannah also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and English, which they received from The University of New Mexico between 2006 and 2011. Hannah has additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Sandia National Laboratories, SHRM - Certified Professional from SHRM, and Training Manager/Specialist from Los Alamos National Laboratory.
