Greg Waibel

Greg Waibel is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership and operations management. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the YMCA of Honolulu since January 2021, Waibel previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities from January 2006 to January 2021, overseeing extensive operational functions across multiple branches and programs. Waibel also has a strong financial background, having served as CFO/CIO at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, where responsibilities included finance, accounting, and technology operations. Prior roles include General Manager of South American Operations at Becker Underwood and General Manager of Seed Enhancements at Land O'Lakes, as well as Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP. Waibel holds an MBA in Finance & Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a BA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
