Alice-Lydia Bird is the current Vice President of Youth Development at the YMCA of South Florida. Alice-Lydia has over fifteen years of experience in grants management and out-of-school programming. Prior to their current position, Alice-Lydia served as the Regional Quality & Evaluation Coordinator for the University of Florida, where they managed over $15 million in funding for after school and summer camp programs. Alice-Lydia has also served as the Director of Grants & Out of Schools Program for the Florida International Academy. In this role, they were responsible for writing and administering grants totaling over $1 million per year. Alice-Lydia is an expert in grant compliance and has a proven track record of successfully managing large budgets. Alice-Lydia is passionate about working with youth and providing them with opportunities to grow and thrive.

Alice-Lydia Bird has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Project Management from American InterContinental University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Developmental Psychology from the University of the Virgin Islands.

They work with Gabriel Ochoa - SVP, Community Health Strategies, Tara Montenaro - EVP, Operations, and Jackie Roca - VP, Human Resources. Alice-Lydia Bird reports to Sheryl A. Woods, President & CEO.
