Scott Barnhard

Scott Barnhard has a diverse work experience primarily in the field of development and financial management in various YMCA organizations. Scott has served as a Chief Advancement Officer at the YMCA of Southwest Florida since August 2023. Prior to this, Scott worked as the Chief Development Officer at the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA from April 2018 to July 2023. Scott also held the position of Vice President of Financial Development at the YMCA of Central Florida from January 2011 to April 2018. Before that, Scott worked at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, where they held roles including Vice President of Financial and Resource Development from March 2008 to December 2010, Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving from March 2005 to March 2008, and Center Executive Director from January 2002 to March 2005.

Scott Barnhard obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Kansas School of Law from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Business Administration at Graceland University from 1982 to 1986.
