Ed Chandler

Ed Chandler has a strong and diverse work experience, primarily in the technology and education sectors. Ed began their career as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at LeRoy High School from September 1997 to June 1998, where they developed and executed the curriculum and represented the mathematics department on the district Curriculum & Instruction Council.

Afterward, Ed worked as a Security Administrator at Interim Technology from June 1999 to February 2000, where they administered LAN/WAN security, user access, and security policies in a mixed Microsoft NT and Novell NetWare environment. Additionally, they provided second-level help desk support for network security issues.

Following their role in security administration, Ed worked as a Software Testing Consultant at VFR Technologies from January 2000 to January 2001. In this position, they conducted software testing and quality assurance activities.

Ed worked as a Shotokan Karate Instructor at Four Seasons Association from July 2006 to July 2018 and as a Co-Chief Instructor at the Central Illinois Shotokan Karate Association from July 2015 to July 2018. Ed also served as the Chief Karate Instructor at the YMCA of the East Valley starting in January 2022.
