Kate Ray

Kate Ray has extensive experience in grant management and foundation relations, currently serving as Senior Director of Grants & Foundation Relations at YMCA of the North since April 2017, where notable achievements include raising $4.95 million in the first 18 months. Prior to this role, Kate held positions such as Grants Manager at RESOURCE, Inc., and Aeon, securing over $1.4 million and raising more than $800,000, respectively. Earlier experience includes serving as Grants Specialist and Development Associate at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities, where Kate contributed to a $5 million operating budget, and a Resource VISTA at Admission Possible, raising over $464,000 through grant proposals. Kate holds a BA in Political Science with a French minor from Carleton College.
