Mark Maglana

Mark Maglana has a strong background in DevOps engineering and software development. Mark is currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at The Linux Foundation. Prior to this, Mark worked at Canonical as a Field Software Engineer, where they produced Kubernetes Operators for Grafana, Prometheus, and AlertManager using Juju. Mark also has experience as President and Co-founder of Amplify Inc., where they provided building auxiliary system solutions. Mark has also worked at Tesla as a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer, building their CI/CD platform, and at Teradata as a DevOps Engineer, leading the internal Kubernetes standard configuration project. Mark has further experience as a QA/Release Engineer at Dimension Data, a Senior Director of Engineering at Morphlabs, and a Senior Director for Product Development at Exist Global. Mark has a strong technical background and a track record of delivering high-quality products.

Mark Maglana has a strong educational background in the field of technology and management. Mark obtained a Master of Management degree in Technology, Innovation, and Commercialization from The Australian National University in 2007. Prior to that, they completed another Master of Management program at the University of the Philippines from 2005 to 2006. In 1995, Mark Maglana earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of San Carlos.

Additionally, Mark Maglana has obtained certifications to further enhance their skills. In 2019, they became an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional through Amazon Web Services (AWS). More recently, in 2021, Mark Maglana acquired the Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation).
