Nobuo Tanaka

Nobuo Tanaka has a diverse work experience in the field of intellectual property and design. Nobuo currently holds the position of Head of Intellectual Property & Design Center at Yokogawa, where they also served as a General Manager. Prior to this, Nobuo worked at Sony as a Senior IP Expert, responsible for managing patent assets and supporting business development. Nobuo also held the role of Senior Manager at Sony Corporation of America, where they worked as a Japanese Patent Attorney. Before joining Sony, Nobuo worked at NEC as an Assistant Manager in the Intellectual Asset Licensing Department. Nobuo began their career as an Electrical Engineer, primarily involved in the development and design of DWDM systems at NEC. Nobuo also gained legal experience as a Trainee at Sughrue Mion PLLC.

Nobuo Tanaka obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Kyoto University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Nobuo further pursued their education at Kyoto University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Physics from 1997 to 1999.
