Director Global Procurement & Supply Chain Operations at Yokogawa

Norbert Romeijn has a diverse work experience in supply chain and procurement roles. Norbert started their career at Van Ommeren/Intexo Holding Logistics Services, where they worked on business process re-engineering for supply chain processes. Norbert then moved on to The Dow Chemical Company, where they served as an Operations Planner and later as a European Supply Chain Analyst. Norbert Romeijn also worked at Tyco Electronics/TE Connectivity as a Regional Supply Chain & Demand Manager for the Fiber Optics business unit. Norbert then joined International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) as a Supply Chain Manager. Following that, they worked at Solectron & Flextronics Global Services as a Manager of Procurement & Supply Chain for their European operations. Norbert Romeijn also held the position of Director of Procurement & Supply Chain at Halliburton Europe, Eurasia & Sub-Saharan Africa. Norbert then joined Yokogawa, where they have held various roles, including Director Procurement & Supply Chain Europe, Director Global Strategic Supply Chain Management, and currently, Director of Global Procurement & Supply Chain Operations. In addition to their corporate experience, Norbert Romeijn has also been a Core Member of the Dutch Supply Chain Leadership Platform at Nyenrode Business University and served as the Vice Chairman Member Council of the Dutch Procurement Federation at NEVI.

Norbert Romeijn attended Wagner & Company in 2022, where they participated in a Certified Education Program for Supervisory Board members. In 2010-2011, they enrolled at RSM Erasmus University / Rotterdam School of Management in collaboration with Dutch Purchasing Institute NEVI for a Master Class in Strategic Purchasing & Supply Management. In 1992-1993, Norbert obtained their CPIM degree from the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), specializing in production planning, capacity planning, and supply chain management. Earlier, from 1986 to 1990, they pursued their Ing. degree at Fontys University of Applied Sciences for Supply Chain Management, focusing on materials management, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, economics, and hazardous goods management. Finally, Norbert attended Moller College Waalwijk from 1981 to 1986, where they completed their VWO/High School education.
