Mert Toker

Mert Toker has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mert started their career in 2008 as a Visual Designer at Hurriyet and worked there until 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Denk. From 2012 to 2013, they also worked as a Photographer at Istanbul Fotoğraf Atölyesi.

In 2015, Toker joined Habertürk as a Visual Designer and worked there until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they were employed as a UI Designer at Garanti BBVA. In 2019, Toker co-founded Barty and served as a Co-Founder and Product Designer until 2020.

Toker joined Shutterstock in 2011 as a Contributor, primarily focusing on photography and vector design. Mert worked there for a decade until 2021.

Mert'smost recent position is as a Senior Product Designer at Yolda.com, starting in July 2021.

Mert Toker's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at Istanbul Arel University. Mert pursued a degree in Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım (Public Relations and Advertising) at the İletişim Fakültesi (Faculty of Communication) and completed their studies in 2011. Following this, they attended Istanbul University from 2011 to 2015, where they also studied İletişim Fakültesi (Faculty of Communication) with a focus on Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım (Public Relations and Advertising).

Furthermore, Mert Toker has obtained additional certifications. In 2013, they acquired a certification in Adobe Digital Publishing Suite from Medyasoft. Later in 2017, they completed the Simplexity Thinking - Facilitation Skills Workshop from Basadur Applied Creativity.
