Assistant Community Project Manager at York Archaeology

Arran Johnson is an experienced archaeology professional currently serving as the Assistant Community Project Manager at York Archaeology since March 2024, focusing on training excavations and the Archaeology on Prescription project. Prior to this role, Arran worked as a Community Engagement Officer for York Archaeology from January 2007 to March 2024, where responsibilities included leading various public archaeology initiatives and co-leading the award-winning Archaeology on Prescription program. Additional experience includes project management of several commercial excavations and various roles such as Project Officer, Project Supervisor, Assistant Field Officer, and Site Assistant across different archaeological sites.
