Joe Small

Joseph Small is a Data Science Engineer at York IE. Joseph is responsible for developing data pipelines, building new data sets, and analysis of data using Machine Learning models for the company's marketing and competitive intelligence platform, Fuel. Prior to their current role, Joseph was a Data Science & ML Intern at York IE, where Joseph built and maintained a large data lake using Amazon Web Services and performed data transformation and machine learning in Python. Joseph also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern Maine, assisting in post-doctoral work in graph analysis of healthcare provider referral data. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine.
