Clare Cunningham

Clare Cunningham is an Associate Professor at York St John University with extensive experience in English Language and Linguistics. Since July 2009, Clare has lectured across various levels, supervising dissertations and leading modules such as Language Teaching Methodologies, Multilingualism, and World Englishes. Clare has also taught English for Academic Purposes at Durham University and the University of Edinburgh, and has served as a Departmental Learning and Teaching Assistant at the University of York. Prior to these roles, Clare worked as a trainer at York Associates, focusing on Business English, and holds a PhD in Language Education from the University of York, along with an MA in English Language Teaching and a BA in French and Linguistics.
