Kelly Bird

Kelly Bird serves as Chief People Officer for both Yorkville University and Toronto Film School, overseeing human resources strategies at two leading educational institutions in Canada. Previously, Bird held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Torstar Corporation, where a transformation of talent management was achieved during a shift from print to digital. Bird also contributed to significant growth and organizational change as Vice President for Canada at WW (formerly Weight Watchers) and HMV Retail Ltd, along with pivotal roles at Rogers Communications and Cogeco Communications. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce with a focus on Human Resources from McMaster University.
