Mithun Purkayastha

Mithun Purkayastha has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Mithun is currently the Director of Content Development at YouKraft since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Content & Communications at Brane Enterprises Pvt Ltd from 2021 to 2022. Mithun also worked at Times Internet as the Chief Manager of Strategy & Creatives from 2018 to 2021. Mithun held the position of Creative Director at Samsung Group (Cheil India) from 2015 to 2018, where they worked on various projects for Samsung. Before that, they were an Associate Creative Director at Publicis Groupe from 2013 to 2015, and a Creative Group Head at Hakuhodo Percept Pvt. Ltd. from 2010 to 2012. Mithun started their career as a Sr. Copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising in 2008 and later worked as a Copywriter at Leo Burnett in 2005. Mithun also had a stint as a Business Lead at a Multi Brand Electronics & Home Appliances outlet from 2001 to 2003, where they gained experience in retail business and consumer insight.

Mithun Purkayastha earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accountancy & Business Communication from Assam (Central) University from 1998 to 2001. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they obtained a Master's degree in Marketing Management & Advertising from Amity University.
