Rochelle Johnson

Rochelle Johnson has over 18 years of work experience in the early learning and childcare field. Rochelle most recently held the position of Early Learning Director at the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, starting in March 2020. Prior to that, Rochelle was an Assistant Director at Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA from February 2017 to March 2020. Rochelle also has experience as a Teacher at ECDC from September 2014 to May 2015, and at Knowledge Universe from January 2012 to September 2014. Rochelle's earlier roles include Program Coordinator at Thurgood Marshall CDC from July 2006 to October 2010, and Director at Second Baptist Church CDC from September 2002 to December 2005. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for various tasks such as operating classrooms, implementing lesson plans, facilitating parent/teacher conferences, and overseeing program operations.

Rochelle Johnson attended Southeastern University (Washington, D.C.) from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Child Development.
