Timothy Williams

Timothy Williams, DVM, is an experienced veterinarian currently serving as a Shelter Veterinarian at Young-Williams Animal Center since January 2020. Prior roles include Shelter Veterinarian at Humane Society of Greater Savannah and Pet Fix Savannah from July 2018 to January 2020, Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital from September 2017 to June 2018, and Veterinary Surgeon at Prevent A Litter Veterinary Hospital from July 2017 to May 2018. Timothy's veterinary career began with positions as a Veterinary Assistant at Value Vet and Murphy Road Animal Hospital. In addition to veterinary work, Timothy has significant experience in education, having served as a Secondary Education Volunteer with WorldTeach and the Peace Corps, as well as tutoring high school students through Upward Bound. Timothy holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee - College of Veterinary Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University.
