Thomas Kane

Thomas Kane is the current Senior Managing Director at YoungAmericaCapital. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and President of the International Investment Banking Division at SSY - Simpson Spence Young from January 2006 to June 2009. There, they were responsible for transactions such as recapitalization, leases, secured loans, corporate equity, and sale of distressed loans.

Before their time at SSY, Kane was the Managing Director at Global Capital Finance from January 2004 to December 2006 and at Chatsworth Securities LLC from August 2009 to April 2019. Thomas was also the Director and Head of New York Office at Boeing Capital Corporation from January 1999 to December 2004.

Kane has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry and has been instrumental in growing various businesses worldwide. Thomas is a skilled negotiator and has a proven track record inOriginating $400 million of loans in the first year. Thomas is also an effective leader, having recruited, selected, trained motivated and evaluated an 8-person global team which grew business in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Thomas Kane's educational career began at Cold Spring Harbor High, where they earned their High School Regents Diploma. Thomas then attended State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, where they earned their B.A. in Economics. Finally, they earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Finance from Saint Bonaventure University.

Their manager is Peter Formanek, Founder & Managing Partner. They work with Josh Gould - VP, Stanley Tobin - Senior Director, Consumer & Latin America, and Donald Jackson - Manager, Investment Banking.
