Chase Smiegiel

Chase Smiegiel is a seasoned professional in music rights licensing and operations with extensive experience in the technology and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as Global Head of Licensing & Licensing Operations at Yousician since November 2021, Chase oversees music rights acquisition strategy and licensing obligations for multiple products globally. Previously, as Associate Director of Licensing at Spotify, Chase played a pivotal role in securing music rights and co-led the launch of Spotify in over 100 new countries. Earlier career highlights include financial analysis at Twitter, investment banking at Stone & Youngberg/Stifel, and co-founding PROnoise.com. Chase holds a Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies from UCLA and completed continuing education in Pricing Methodologies at Columbia Business School in 2023.
