Dejan Markovic

Dejan Markovic has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dejan currently works as the Head of Innovation at Youth Business International (YBI), a global network that supports young entrepreneurs. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing innovation strategies, managing innovation services, and supporting innovation projects using Human Centered Design and Lean Startup methodologies.

Prior to their role at YBI, Dejan served as a Board Member at Adventure Pass from 2019 to 2020. Dejan also worked as the Senior Strategy and Innovation Manager at The Challenge, one of the UK's largest charities. At The Challenge, they developed re-commissioning strategies, created long-term innovation and business development strategies, and set up innovation processes and governance.

Dejan's work experience also includes roles at Bupa, a multinational healthcare group, and Deloitte UK. At Bupa, they held positions as a Senior Group Strategy and Innovation Consultant, Group Strategy Consultant, and Group Strategy Associate. Dejan contributed to developing global corporate strategies, leading innovation initiatives, and executing key strategic initiatives for the CEO and executive team.

At Deloitte UK, Dejan worked as a Consultant, further enhancing their expertise in consulting and strategy. Overall, Dejan has demonstrated a strong track record of driving innovation, developing strategies, and managing business development across their various roles.

Dejan Markovic pursued their education chronologically, starting from 1996 to 2003 at Rickmansworth School, where they completed their GCSE & A levels. Dejan then enrolled at UCL from 2004 to 2007, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology. More recently, in 2019 and 2020, they attended the Quantic School of Business and Technology, where they earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree.
