We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and our mission is to actively engage youth, their families, and the community to ensure youth have the five fundamental promises they need to succeed:

1. Caring Adults
2. Safe Places
3. A Healthy Start
4. Effective Education
5. Opportunities to Help Others

We operate a neighborhood center in Ramsey, as well as programs within the Coon Rapids, Andover, and Anoka Hennepin School District middle and high schools. We provide FREE homework help programs for 6th - 12th grade students and a FREE summer enrichment program to create a continuous stream of services for youth and their families. 

Every day incorporates at least 30 minutes of homework, supported by active communication between teachers in each student's school and YFCoP staff.

We know each student's academic needs and actively engage them and their families in achieving school success. The remainder of the program day is broken into various activities to expose them to new experiences and focus on their special interests.
