Martín Jaramillo has extensive experience in marketing and strategic planning roles. Martín currently holds the position of Head of Marketing México at Google and also works as the Marketing Lead Canada-Latin America for YouTube Advertising. Prior to this, they served as the Marketing Lead Spanish Speaking Latin America at Spotify. Martin has also held significant positions at Twitter, Geometry Global, DDB, Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erickson, Indimotion, and Telemedia throughout their career. Their expertise includes brand strategies, advertising, communication, and development of marketing plans for various well-known brands.
Martín Jaramillo studied Planning at Brother Escuela de Creativos in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Industrial Design from the Universidad Autonoma de Manizales between 1996 and 2001. Additionally, they have received several certifications and has acted as a guest speaker and judge for various events and institutions. Some of these include being a guest speaker at the Festival El Condor in Ecuador in 2015, a guest speaker at SME Digital in Puerto Rico in 2016, a guest speaker at Web Congress Bogotá in 2017, and a guest speaker at Social Media Week Mexico in 2018. Martín has also been a guest speaker and judge at the Festival de publicidad Surco in Colombia in 2017 and a guest judge at the Festival El Ojo de Iberoamérica in 2017 and 2018.
