Michel Akl

Michel Akl has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michel started their career as a Post Production Assistant at The Post Republic GmbH in 2011. After that, they worked as a Sales and Acquisitions Assistant at Protagonist Pictures Ltd. In 2012, they took on the role of a Business Developer and Consultant as a Freelancer. In 2014, Michel joined Google as an Operations Specialist before moving to YouTube in 2015. At YouTube, they held various roles including Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Program Manager & Support Operations Lead, EMEA Manager & Music lead, and currently serves as the Head of YouTube Partner Operations - EMEA & Music lead. Their tenure at YouTube has been long-term and has contributed to their expertise in managing teams and operations.

Michel Akl pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Engineering at Lebanese American University from 2005 to 2010. Michel later earned a Master's degree in International Business from Kingston University in 2011-2012.
