Shamitha S has work experience as a Test Engineer at YouView TV Limited since June 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer in Test at TalkTalk from August 2015 to February 2017. Before TalkTalk, they worked as a Test Engineer at Cisco from May 2012 to July 2015. Their earliest work experience was as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from November 2009 to November 2011.

Shamitha S studied at Malnad College of Engineering Karnataka from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science.
