Nikita Bhusal is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Georgia, focusing on the use of endophytic microorganisms to enhance food safety in fresh vegetables. With extensive experience in agricultural communication and research, Nikita serves as the Country Representative and Communications Focal Point for YPARD in the United States, while also holding positions as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida and a Graduate Research Assistant at Lincoln University of Missouri. Previously, Nikita has contributed to numerous initiatives, including serving as a Global Ambassador for Thought For Food, where engagement in food and agriculture innovation is prioritized. Educationally, Nikita holds a Master's degree in Food Science from the University of Florida, a Master's in Sustainable Agriculture from Lincoln University of Missouri, and a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology from the College of Applied Food and Dairy Technology.
