Ilpo Tolonen

Ilpo Tolonen is an accomplished leader in the healthcare and business sectors, currently serving as Johtaja at Docrates Mehiläinen Syöpäsairaala since September 2024 and as a board member at the Finnish Drug Discovery Center Ltd. and Oy Verman Ab. Tolonen has held the position of Chairman of the Board at LPY - Lääkäripalveluyritykset Ry and as a member of the Growth and Internationalization Committee at Suomen Yrittäjät ry. Additional roles include serving as a board member and Chairman of the Board for the Medical Tourism Association Finland, as well as Chairman of the Board for Pickala Padel Oy. Tolonen was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Docrates Syöpäsairaala and has extensive experience in various board positions, including Fysios Group. An alumnus of the University of Oulu with a Master’s degree in Economics, Tolonen has also completed executive education at the Tampere Chamber of Commerce and Helsinki Chamber of Commerce.
