Alexandru G. has extensive work experience in the field of security engineering and analysis. They currently hold the position of Senior Security Engineer at Yubico, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Riscure from 2015 to 2021, where they held multiple roles including Head of Innovation, Senior Security Analyst, and Security Analyst.

In 2015, Alexandru had an internship at Fox-IT, where they focused on improving TCP/IP stack fingerprinting and researching anomaly detection methods using machine learning. Before that, they had internships at Philips Research in 2014 and 2012, and an internship at Philips Lighting in 2013.

They also have experience in IT assistance, working as an IT assistant at Prutul S.A. Galati in 2011, and as a student assistant at Fontys Hogescholen from 2010 to 2011, where they provided guidance and support to students learning C++.

Alexandru G. began their education in 2005 at Mihail Kogalniceanu National College, where they studied exact sciences until 2009. Alexandru then attended Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology. Following that, from 2011 to 2013, Alexandru completed a Pre-Master Course at Eindhoven University of Technology. Lastly, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Security from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they completed from 2013 to 2015.
