Bala Seetharaman

Bala Seetharaman has over 20 years of experience in various technology roles. Bala is currently working as a Principal Solutions Engineer at Yugabyte. Prior to that, they worked at Shell as an Application Delivery Lead, where they were responsible for designing and developing solutions for advanced manufacturing technologies. Bala also has experience at Dell EMC as a Senior Solution Architect/Advisory Consultant, where they specialized in smart city platform design and development, data lake implementations, and big data strategy consulting. Earlier in their career, they worked at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre and Wipro Technologies in leadership roles. Bala started their career as a Software Engineer at Changepond Technologies.

Bala Seetharaman is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in IOT Security Analytics at Visvesvaraya Technological University. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Pondicherry University in 2017. In 2001, they obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. Bala also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the same university, which was completed in 1998. Bala Seetharaman's education journey began with their completion of Higher Secondary education at CSI in 1995. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Microsoft Azure fundamentals AZ900 and Certified Blockchain Architect.
