George Hoyland

George Hoyland has extensive work experience in the field of UX and design. George is currently employed as the Head of UX & Research at YuLife, starting in December 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as the Lead UX Designer at YuLife from June 2021 to December 2023.

Before joining YuLife, George worked at News UK, where they held various positions. George started as a Graphic Design Intern at Rare Corporate Design in June 2012. George then worked as a Designer at Carbon Credentials from January 2014 to August 2014. George later joined Redwood - inspiring content as a Junior Designer from August 2014 to November 2015.

George's career continued to progress, and they joined Engage by Bell Pottinger as a Digital Designer - UX in December 2015. George was promoted to the role of Senior Designer - UX in April 2017 and worked in this position until September 2017.

After their time at Engage by Bell Pottinger, George returned to News UK, where they took on the role of UX Designer from October 2017 to August 2018. George was then promoted to Senior UX Designer and served in this position from August 2018 to May 2020. Finally, they worked as the Lead UX Designer at News UK from May 2020 to May 2021 before transitioning to their current role at YuLife.

George Hoyland attended Cheltenham College from 2004 to 2009. George then went on to Northumbria University where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interactive Media Design from 2011 to 2013.
